Posted: 20 Nov 2020 06:02 PM PST I have been hearing that second layer solutions like zkSNARKs can help us reduce the transaction fees. But how it works? Like I am going to send LRC (which is based on zkSNARKs) to someone using my Ethereum wallet so will the fees be automatically reduced? Or I will need to do something else? [link] [comments]

Recommendations on ETH 2.0 staking pools? Posted: 20 Nov 2020 10:40 AM PST I have less than 32 ETH but want to get involved in staking. I have looked into ANKR but wanted to check with the community to get your opinion on them and/or any other staking pools to potentially join. Any thoughts are much appreciated! Posted: 20 Nov 2020 05:54 AM PST What exactly does it mean when a stable coin like cUSD from Celo is pegged to the US dollar? A dollar is always $1. But then what if USD collapses or hyper inflates, will these stable coins still be backed or pegged to a dollar equaling $1? Does China mind that all these stable coins are using the reserve currency? Why not make these stable coins backed by 1BTC=1BTC I'm confused [link] [comments]

Recovering a wallet from the Mist Posted: 20 Nov 2020 02:10 AM PST 3 Years ago i downloaded Mist wallet and kept my ethereum in there. Now the mist wallet is no more and i can't access to my accounts. I have a 12 word seed phrase i have written down but it doesn't work for some reason. I have 3 seeds for BTC Doge and ETH from 3 years ago. I recovered the BTC and Doge but ETH seed is not working. Did mist wallet used a different system than BIP39? None of the words from ETH seed is in database for BIP39. Is there a way to recover the wallet? I have some keystores but all of them are empty. I remember in mist wallet i had so many adresses that i could swap the eth between. But it seems like keystore files contain only one adress and not all of the adresses in a wallet. Is there a different file that i can open with the password to access all the adresses in the wallet not just 1? [link] [comments]

ETH newbie here with some questions Posted: 19 Nov 2020 10:34 PM PST So with the launch of 2.0 I have some question and couldn't find all the response on Internet What will happen to ETH 1.0 just being remplace? Or it will be two different crypto? What's the point on invest 32 ETH right now do you gain a percentage at the launch? Is their a chance of loosing money if you do that? If I don't have the possibility to have 32 ETH can I still participate to the launch? I see that we are '' only'' at 20% of the funds, what will happen if the 100% is not complete?
