The irony of the name "Bitshevik"

    Posted: 23 Nov 2020 03:11 AM PST

"Bitshevik" is the derogatory name Bitcoin ABC supporters used against the BCH community. Everyone knows that.

But it's a bit ironic, don't you think? "Bitshevik" is from "bit" and "Bolshevik". The Bolsheviks are a socialist party that brought Communism to Russia. It also meant "majority" in Russian.

The irony starts here. They're literally calling us, in my understanding, "Bitcoin (Cash) Majority". Then, their way of pushing their idea of IFP which will bring "decentralization" and "free hard money" sounded like Marxist goals. Also ironically, they call for decentralization when the IFP centralizes 8% of the fund to an address that gets shared to both Bitcoin ABC and the Global Network Council (who ABC has control).

Also coincidentally, Amaury calls himself a benevolent dictator. Anyone who agrees with the likes of Hitler and Stalin or Lenin can say that all of them were benevolent dictators. Heck, we have Filipinos here that like Marcos, our own little dictator in the Philippines. But we don't tolerate those people, because they have bad leaders.

I'm glad that ABC was knocked off the "reference node" position and created a true council of nodes and shareholders through the multiple-node implementation and the successes of Flipstarters.

What I am not glad about, however, is people who have a grudge against those that were pro-IFP and turned pro-BCH. Like, really. To be fair for them, their reputations within the BCH community are tainted with Bitcoin ABC.

Also, my posts have been controversial lately, haha.

BCHA On The Brink of Death

    Posted: 22 Nov 2020 02:39 PM PST

I saw that BCHA has next to no nodes, next to no hash power, tens of blocks in a row are completely empty, its only listed on 6 exchanges, has to restart the entire process of merchant adoption and community building effectively from square one, and as if all of this wasn't damning enough, the miner that mined the empty blocks is now signalling "BCHA dump on 11/25" as seen here - https://twitter.com/nikzh/status/1330305879959367685

Looks like a massacre for Amaury..

    Hello guys!
I am a lightning network supporter and user, and I would like to debunk some of the myths about lightning that BCH supporters promote.

So please, just ask anything and I will try my best to debunk or answer it.

    BCHA Fee market

    Posted: 22 Nov 2020 03:33 PM PST

Since BCHA is being attacked and the miner is mining empty blocks your transaction won't go through. But ViaBTC is able to mine some blocks but this is leading to people with higher fees to be mined.

BCHA has a block cap at 8 MB, the BCHA mempool is 100 MB. The current suggest feerate is 3 satoshi/kb. I would suggest doing 5-10 satoshis just to get in the next ViaBTC block.

I think I got my BTC jacked, I have NO idea what happened?

    Posted: 22 Nov 2020 01:11 PM PST

Help! This morning I was shopping online looking for a deal for xmas gifts, found what I wanted. The company gives 5% off on BTC transactions so I went to my BTC ATM and got BTC to my wallet(Electrum phone app) from ATM. When I returned home the price had changed , so I changed my mind. 2hrs later my Electrum account says 0.0BTC? I never sent anything to anyone. Blockchain has no record of any transaction from my address or the address that my electrum says it was sent 2? have people found a way to hack electrum? This goes against everything I believe possible. I had a transaction go missing last month also were the receiver claimed he never received my BTC. I feel like I am in a different Universe, I have the receipt from the ATM otherwise I swear I dreamed this. Please Help!!!!

    A Bitcoin Cash Advertising Network?

    Posted: 22 Nov 2020 09:07 AM PST

If you go to most crypto sites like faucets and gambling sites there are ads and most are ads that are paid with Bitcoin. With Bitcoin Cash you could start an ad campaign for $1 with 0-conf and low fees while with Bitcoin to start an ad campaign for $1 it would take 20+ minutes to confirm with $0.30+ fees (https://mempool.ninja/)

Should there be a bitcoin cash advertising network? I am thinking about doing it but I need help creating it.
