It’s funny that we’re early and most still can’t afford 1

    Posted: 31 Oct 2020 08:46 PM PDT

100m users. Let's say potential 4-5b people that's under a percent. Can anyone truly imagine the potential. Right now most can't even afford 1. And we are early. Just imagine 10-15yr down the road lol. Easily I bet 10m a coin minumum. I bet it can even hit 100m

Reminder: if you haven't setup an account with an exchange, do so now

    Posted: 31 Oct 2020 04:26 PM PDT

Nothing wrong with lurking and watching or even participating in the conversation while remaining a "no coiner". Taking time to educate yourself is best. However, setup an account with an exchange WELL before you plan on buying. Get your Trezor or Ledger if you can. Perform some tiny test transactions, and make sure you know how to deposit/buy/sell/withdraw, and the timeframe each takes.

If you wait until things get spicy, you may miss out or run into delays.

Don't FOMO and buy Bitcoin out of pure emotion

    Posted: 31 Oct 2020 11:18 AM PDT

Greed and fear of missing out is a bad advisor for investments. Don't rush into it out of pure emotion. I am a supporter of bitcoin and I entered 2017 during the hype phase. I've experienced all market stages and emotions (fear/gread/happiness/depression). What I'm seeing right now is very similar to 2017. History is repeating itself once again. Don't trade on leverage if you are not familiar with technical analysis and you are new to this field. Dollar cost average is best for you. Keep some cash for always buying the dips

A fun way to keep track of the BTC/USD price

A fun way to keep track of the BTC/USD price

I was looking on the web for something which showed the bitcoin price using funny animations, but could not find anything. So I decided to code something myself: A biker who rides on a landscape the curvature of which follows the BTC/USD price live:

    https://www.thebitcoinrider.com/

    https://preview.redd.it/y9g3orm3igw51.png?width=718&format=png&auto=webp&s=feba54d26da3e74fa255c88e0727c95318644f27

I just started this out and would be glad to get some feedback, before refining the implementation.

One thing that I'm presently thinking to introduce are background landscapes which show the price at different time frames.

Also, I would be curious to know if something like that already existed on the web.

Stack Sats quietly. Let the Michael Saylors shill publicly.

I know I'm not the only one out there, who is 99% into btc after paying off the bills.

Every time I get a paycheck, bills get paid immediately... everything else goes into btc. Quietly.

Let Saylor bring in the next Billionaire from the Hamptons.

    Warning: Ledger Scam Text

    Posted: 31 Oct 2020 02:18 PM PDT

I just got this text message.

    "Ledger

{my name here} Ledger firmware has a critical vulnerability. Visit ledger.deals and update it immediately. Do not risk losing assets."

So while I doubt there's a critical vulnerability, Legder definitely got their contact list stolen. They should probably address this...

    Be safe and question everything.

Who still wants to see Bitcoin dead? And what are they doing to stop it?

    Posted: 31 Oct 2020 02:32 PM PDT

    Governments? Central banks? Traditional banks?

After 2017 we talked of the great lengths the establishment would go to see BTC fail.

    How about now?
