Satoshi Nakamoto about second layers. Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:51 PM PST I don't believe a second, compatible implementation of Bitcoin will ever be a good idea. So much of the design depends on all nodes getting exactly identical results in lockstep that a second implementation would be a menace to the network. [link] [comments]

Hard fork 1:1 Tokens -> Bitcoin.com-wallet? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 02:53 AM PST Dear Bitcoin Cashers, Since there will be a Hard Fork on the Bitcoin Cash-network soon, will I receive a 1:1 on my Bitcoin.com-wallet? Like if I have 1 BCH do I automatically receive then 1 unit of the new token? And if yes what needs to be done to claim it? Much appreciated and thank you in advance! Zato7 [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Nov 2020 12:38 AM PST A product can't dominate a market without first dominating the platform: take Microsoft ruling desktops through Windows, or Google and its Search ruling by being the gateway to the Internet, and Android running most mobile apps in the market, for example. This isn't a criticism of how the regulators discriminate to allow a monopoly (the legislator and regulator actually hugely discriminates in their favor - see Stallman), or how the corporations provide their products as default (Windows and Android preinstalled, Google set as the default search in browsers), but an example of how e.g. by offering Android for free they are able to design the platform to support exactly the product they make and the way they want the users to use it. Unless someone designs the platform itself to support everything crypto should be it won't come into fruition as something people actually use. [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Nov 2020 10:19 PM PST Could you please help me understand what to do to recover my wallet? I transfered funds from coinbase to coinbase wallet and when the 12 word seed phrase usually is prompted, the page crashed. It said fatal error. When I logged into coinbase wallet app, it asks for the passcode. I have the tx ID, address for the wallet. I've also created a wallet on Ethreum but it is watch only. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. [link] [comments]
