Posted: 27 Oct 2020 08:26 PM PDT I'm assuming it should be easy since Litecoin has the same code as bitcoin. Would be major i think to swap between monero and litecoin on top of LTC having MW tech. Here's a link to monero reddit post on it - https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/jhiwhm/bitcoin_to_monero_atomic_swaps_how_this_enables/ [link] [comments] | ||
Feasibility of using large fractional numbers in purchases Posted: 27 Oct 2020 01:53 PM PDT This question doesn't apply uniquely to Litecoin of course, but is there any possible solution to having to buy/sell items that don't round to a nice number. This isn't really a problem at the moment (or maybe it won't ever be a problem), but could it be a problem when a cryptocurrency gains widespread adoption to the point that it's used regularly in retail settings, for example? Let's say I want to sell a shirt valued at US$5. I would have to list that price at about Ł0.084796, or rounding up, at Ł0.085, which is slightly easier to read and do math with—but still not ideal, and this will only get worse as the price of Litecoin increases. Is there an alternative to writing something like Ł0.00059601, or will transaction amounts like this become normal for everyday crypto purchases (if that ever happens). [link] [comments] |
