Veddha Frames - what size are the screws that hold the GPU's in place? Posted: 02 Oct 2020 08:16 AM PDT I just bought a few used frames that have everything but the GPU screws. Anyone happen to know what size they are? Im guessing I can just get them at any hardware store after I know what they are. [link] [comments] |

Best source for OC settings for my orphan GPU's Posted: 02 Oct 2020 04:07 AM PDT I have some single GPU models that I started to finetune. It's hard to find & interpret the info I find all over, since often it's relative info "+100" etc, which means if my card has a different stock setting or brand, it is no longer applicable. The 2 cards I'm working on atm are msi 1080ti lightning X and an Powercolor Red Dragon RX590 8gb (samsung) and I can't seem to get them to cooperate. Current settings: I would love to be able to get the power down on both cards, and get the hashrate up for the RX590. However, I can't seem to access power on the nvidia and the rx590 crashes as soon as I touch something. Anyone any clues? [link] [comments] |
EWBF CUDA version insufficient... Posted: 01 Oct 2020 11:25 PM PDT Am I dead in the water here, I updated my drivers through the nvidia website. Can I install an older version because it still doesn't work with the CUDA 8 version of EWBF. [link] [comments] |
NicehashOS no profit , HiveOS crashing Posted: 01 Oct 2020 02:49 PM PDT Specs Mobo B250 Mining Expert Risers Mintcell risers Seasonic 1200w + Server PSU's I have been trying to get my mining rig to work for about 1 week and I can't seem to find the issue with it. Using NicehashOS I have my rig working and running, but sometimes hashrate is very low for what the RIG has and its making like $4 usd a day for 10 rx 5700'sish of performance. It seems to not pick the most profitable and sometimes goes to $0 a day but it still is running. I also tried HiveOS, this worked with full profitability but then I get an error sometimes a gpu wdog not responding and I tried undervolting and lowering clock speeds a lot as shown 1200 core 800 mem in the HiveOS but it still just has these lines and goes offline, I have to then physically power off and on to get it back on and it only runs for like 1 hour, sometimes its many of GPU's getting watchdog error. I would appreciate some help thank you so much >pheonix miner reboot - every 1hour ish 2020.09.30:17:11:37.123: wdog GPU7 not responding 2020.09.30:17:11:37.123: wdog Thread(s) not responding. Questions about mining on 2 PCs. Posted: 01 Oct 2020 11:30 AM PDT Hello miners! Hope you are staying safe. I have a couple of questions about mining on 2 PCs. PC 1 (Daily use PC): PC 2: GTX 1070 I will be mining Verushash on the CPUs and whatever works on the GPUs. At the moment I have PC 1 up and running Windows 10 with NiceHash and a miner for verus running. My question: What is the best way to get PC 2 set up where I can manage it and have it mining into the same wallet as PC 1? The main obstacles that I see are that Verushash is separate software that HiveOS probably can't run and that the two GPUs and AMD and Nvidia so I can't just stick them in the same PC and ditch the second CPU. Thank you in advance! -A struggling newb [link] [comments] |
How many pools you think skim off the top? Posted: 01 Oct 2020 09:23 AM PDT I know the difference between PPS, etc. and how luck is a factor but sometimes it seems like the numbers just don't add up. [link] [comments] |
Is mining some kind of criptocurrency still profitable with just a gaming pc? Posted: 01 Oct 2020 09:05 AM PDT I am a total noob, so excuse me for the banality of the question, which is fairly simple: I have a new quite powerfull gaming pc (ryzen 7, 32 gb ram, rtx 3080 in arrival soon) and I would like to use it to try to start mining some kind of criptocurrency and not only for gaming. Consider that I won't pay the electricity bill, no matter how high, because it is paid by my landlord by contract. So I was just wondering if it can be worth it in your opinion and how much I could make... if no, I won't even bother studying the subject very much. TY :) [link] [comments] |
