What to do if blockchain ever reaches 40 GB? Posted: 18 Sep 2020 10:53 AM PDT Greetings! I would like to know what to do if I am not pruning, and the blockchain manages to reach 40 GB of storage use. I don't think I will change my hard drive any time soon (298 GB low-density hard drive, old drives are usually more reliable than new ones, though slower and with less storage, apart from being more common in my country), and pruning may not be really useful because I could lose all of the money on my wallet thanks to the incompatibility of pruning and rescanning wallet; power outages on my country are usually not scheduled, and when scheduled they end up happening either way too soon or way too late. Also, the """scheduled""" blackouts are explicitly claimed to last longer (8 hours or so) than the ones that are not scheduled (3 hours). For the people that ask where I live, it's Venezuela.
