Posted: 30 Sep 2020 06:52 AM PDT Hi, just start mining recently with a 2060, and looking forward to continue purchasing another card to fill my motherboard. As today.. what's the card that would give me a better ROI considering that my electricity is cheap (0'06 EUR kw/h). Is there any calculator to do the numbers with real hashing power? Thanks [link] [comments]
What gpu risers should i buy EU and from whom? Posted: 30 Sep 2020 08:39 AM PDT Well i am wondering what gpu risers i should buy. I dont really know where i should look, because i have found some raisers on amazon.de that look decent and all but i dont really either wanna take a gamble. Are there any reputable companies in Europe that sell quality raiser, or companies that ship internationally of course. Thanks for you answer! [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:14 PM PDT Hi! I'm a young adult about to go into the real world, and I have a very good amount of money saved up. I saved it for years specifically to invest it when I come of age. I have a fair bit of computational knowledge, and have been thinking about using cyptocurrency mining as another form of investment for a while now. Though, the consensus on this seems to vary. I have already learned how to mine and done a lot of research on this subject, and I'm here to ask for some more opinions. Keep in mind that this is NOT planned to be my only source of income, far from it. I'm thinking of this as one of my investments that I have to work more actively to maintain and supervise, and the scale of the operation would probably be a mere 12$ a day of profit at max. I would really appreciate opinions. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Sep 2020 08:56 AM PDT Hi, I'm starting mining on windows with a 2060 RTX and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this card and could give me insights about how to optimize performance and power with different values of frecuency and voltage. Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Sep 2020 10:01 AM PDT TLDR: What Linux GPU OC Software would you recommend for 2 NVidia GPUs? I need it to do standard power limits, Memory overclocking and fan controls. So I've been mining with Nicehash on Windows for 2 years now. I'm also home bound with a criminally underfunded chronic illness. So a research group is asking to use my computing power to help with some of the research, but all of their programs run on Linux. I have no experience with Linux, so I'm at a loss. As the programs run for days at a time, I'll need to control the GPU OC so they don't overheat. Also, I was wondering if there's a program similar to Nicehash that can run on Linux that I could mine with in between runs of the research calculations? [link] [comments] |
