Tether (USDT) has printed over 14 Billion Dollars but never "unprints" their tokens. Just this year they printed an additional 10 Billion, it reeks of MTGox willybot. They own mods in every cryptocurrency subreddit who censor posts critical of this.

PSA: RE "ABC will reorg the BCH(N) chain" - all it takes is a short burst of 10+ BCH blocks and ABC permanently splits off due to reorg protection.

    Posted: 06 Sep 2020 05:42 PM PDT

Since I'm seeing this talking point repeated continuously I think it's good to debunk it once and for all.

The ABC side is spreading FUD about how BCHN miners can have their blocks orphaned and that's why exchanges might be reluctant to use BCHN - Grasberg was removed by ABC just to make this possible and to make that scenario sound plausible (playing dirty, which makes it a clear malicious act but that's for another day)

It's true that this is possible in theory but there is a really simple way for BCHN miners to prevent this from happening very quickly and permanently - just use a short burst of hashing power to mine 10+ blocks on top of BCH(N) chain at which point reorg protection kicks in and it's impossible for ABC to ever reorg the BCH chain from then on.

This is likely to take place very quickly right after the fork. No need to manually invalidate a block, no need for any manual action at all, this will sync all BCH nodes on the network and splits of ABC into their own chain. Stop the FUD.

ABC vs BCHN: Why ABC guaranteed to lose eventually

    Posted: 06 Sep 2020 07:12 PM PDT

Without getting into the politics of it all, here's some analysis, noting that:

    • An ABC block is a valid BCHN block.
    • A BCHN block is an invalid ABC block.

    Scenario:

    1. ABC has majority hash-power at hard-fork: BCHN nodes will still track the ABC chain whilst their minority hash blocks will be orphaned. Outcome here is elevated orphan rate, no split. However, should ABC ever lose majority hash-power, even for just 10 blocks, then an irreversible split occurs as per (2).
    2. BCHN has majority hash-power on or at any time after hard-fork: ABC/BCHN split with no replay protection.

At this point, it's looking like (2).

Also, if Corey's from the north and Calvin from the south think they can team up for one final attack on Bitcoin and artificially pump ABC hash-power, it will be a complete waste. This is because as soon as their artificial hash-power ends, scenario (2) occurs.

Their only strategy would be to waste money propping up ABC hash-power long-term to orphan BCHN blocks to force them onto ABC nodeware. In this highly unlikely scenario, BCHN could be updated easily to replicate IFP coinbase output just to stop orphans but then switch off these IFP outputs at non-deterministic block numbers. This can be done by some rule based on last block-hash. This way, the fake ABC hash-power would need to be permanent, because as soon as it turns off and the non-deterministic trigger fires, the BCHN majority will start producing non-IFP blocks and split as per (2). Only 10 blocks required to seal a split, a time period too small for the fake hash-power infrastructure to be turned on again.

However, it's far more likely that on hard-fork day should ABC be higher in hash-power, or the ABC/BCHN hash-power be comparable then someone like /u/memorydealers will artificially pump BCHN hash (for 10 blocks) to seal the split.

Doesn't matter which way you look at it, ABC is done -- unless of course they get social consensus from community to adopt their change legitimately, which they have totally failed to do.

Safe to call this - ABC has lost already.

    [BTC].

    Posted: 07 Sep 2020 01:33 AM PDT

Yesterday, BTC bottomed out for the fourth time in seven days, falling below a new low and hitting $9800, and then rebounded again. Currently, it continues to build a bottom at $10000. Multiple bottoming rebounds equals repeated harvests, see more and move less, and play steadily.

Technically, the main short-term control plate is still staged, and the current price is in a chip-intensive area. No matter what the reason behind the repeated bottoming out and rebound, we can at least see that the situation dominated by the short side turned into mutual adhesion a few days ago. If the market stabilizes again above 10500 US dollars within a day, the future market is expected to come out of a shock triangle shape. If it is unable to stand firm, short-term shock or sustained negative decline can be seen.

But as long as it stays above $9000 (note that there is strong support in this position), or directly inserts a Yin line around $9000, then the possibility of a subsequent upward change will be very high.

I am not afraid that it will fall, but that it will not fall enough.

The author's point of view: hold the low spot, wait and see for a short time, and the futures wait for the opportunity.

[Question] I wanna make a meme defi project on BCH

    Posted: 06 Sep 2020 07:29 PM PDT

Ethereum has been clogged with defi project's and transactions but no one is seeing how BCH is the best place for DeFi! BCH is fast and cheap compared to Ethereum long waits and high fees. I just wanna make a small meme defi project to show people how BCH is the best place for develoeprs.

    How do I start?

Does BCH have a scripting language like Ethereum?

Where is the best place I can go to get help?
