| Does any trusted source host the blockchain? Posted: 19 Aug 2020 09:09 AM PDT What I mean specifically is like the chainstate and blocks files, as it still takes days even with a small blockchain size compared to bitcoin. My full node is now completely running and im thinking about just hosting the blockchain on the website I was going to build anyways. And Ive seen people discussing this back in like 2014-2016 but all of those "trusted" hosts are shutdown by now. Why would I host the blockchain for download? Because Id like to see more full nodes out there and I feel as some people would love to host a node but they arent going to deal with having to wait days to just set it up.
