Posted: 19 Aug 2020 07:52 AM PDT Hi guys I would like to start mining with this old mobo I have: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/P55GD65/Specification My question is: can I use 2x RX5700 with this? If not, would 2x RX570 work? I've read that I would need a UEFI mobo for XR5700 but there's also others that are saying that it isn't an issue for mining. Additionally: what OS would you guys recommend? Windows or a plug&play linux based miningOS? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Aug 2020 08:16 PM PDT ok so this is something I am wondering if I were to make up 51% of the hash rate, do I automatically cause problems or do I have to inject my own blocks? I don't wish to hack any coin I just want to know... i don't 100% understand the 51% hack [link] [comments] |
Is my internet switch disconnecting or is it my internet? Posted: 18 Aug 2020 06:36 PM PDT So I have all my rigs in my shed and they are all connected to a TP-Link 5 port switch. Every day at least once, all my rigs lose connection to the internet even while still connected and all lights are on. I wonder if this is an issue with my internet or the Switch? Im running a direct cable about 125ft from my router to my shed and into the switch. I have 150mg/s Internet speed I was sure that would be enough. How could I test if its an issue with the Switch or my internet? [link] [comments] |
