Posted: 22 Aug 2020 11:52 AM PDT So, I'm using This website to calculate transaction costs. But to be more precise, I need to put the gas used for the transaction. How do I know how much gas will be used to send a coin? Say I want to send xxxx amount of ethereum, or xxxx amount of ChainLink. How do I know how much gas this will take? [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Aug 2020 05:36 AM PDT Will my current ETH automatically become 2.0? How does that work? [link] [comments]
DeFi will never fully replace CeFi? Posted: 22 Aug 2020 11:10 AM PDT Because when people need to buy a house then how do they put collateral? Yea there needs to be some kind of central instance. Or maybe not, maybe the water, electricity etc would be closed by a connected blockchain if the loan is not paid montly. [link] [comments]
Turn POWR into ETH on MetaMask Posted: 22 Aug 2020 01:06 AM PDT I have a little POWR on MetaMask with 0 ETH. How can I transfer these to an exchange (Binance)? Problem is that I have 0 ETH. I need 0.003 ETH on 0x74DcC14461b553edAe3801538a293Bf385C080aa as fee so I can make the transfer. But instead of first sending ETH to that address, Can I turn a part of my POWR into ETH so I don't have to pay fee twice? [link] [comments]

What layer two platforms are looking promising? And will they really work? Posted: 22 Aug 2020 09:17 AM PDT The use of OMG by Tether came as a surprise to many of us in crypto. I didn't even know that it was technically possible to have a layer two token that would improve scalability. So I have decided to study these protocols on a technical level to understand how they work. From the myriad of layer two solutions which ones are looking promising and worth studying? The only layer 2 solution that I studied is LN and that turned out to be flawed from many angles. Will OMG and other similar platforms have any flaws like LN? [link] [comments]
