Attacker Stole 807K ETC in Ethereum Classic 51% Attack

Given that ETC has been 51% attacked twice in the last week and blocks reorganised, why is it's marketcap not 0? Discussion

    Posted: 06 Aug 2020 11:44 PM PDT

Ethereum classic has been 51% attacked twice in the last week and suffered block reorganisation. It's estimated that the attack cost $200,000 to rent the required hashrate from nicehash and the attacker(s) made $5.6 million. 4,000 blocks were reorganised - how does this coin even exist? Should it be allowed on exchanges? Genuine discussion please.

    Warning - don't 100% rely on a hardware wallet

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 12:33 AM PDT

Almost had a very hard lesson today.

My Ledger Nano S wouldn't turn on after plugging it in with 3 cables on 2 PCs, I guess it's dead.

Luckily I had backed up the 24 word seed and was able to restore the key onto my Android wallet and then transfer from there.

I'm actually disappointed that my Ledger only lasted 2 years... but boy am I glad that I backed up the key. That would have been a huge loss had I not.

Remember to store your seed in at least 2 places.

If you DCA how do you know your limits?

    Posted: 06 Aug 2020 11:04 PM PDT

So let's get the 'dont sell' stuff out early. I get it. But seriously speaking if you are someone who sells and also dca's how do you work out your limits on where you want to take some profits? It's easier when you know every entry and log it, but if you automatically DCA... What do you use to work out exits?

Let's set the record straight right here on the bullshit cryptos.

    Posted: 06 Aug 2020 08:33 PM PDT

    2017/18ish it was.

I was ranting about bullshit forks. Bcash(bullshit cash), Bullshit Gold, and Bullshit diamond.

Fast forward a few years later, and most of that bullshit is universally now considered bullshit. now it appears another bullshit fork emerged from the bullsbit.

BSV. Which is really Bullshit "Super version"

Let me ask something. To the people buying this story. Are you tarted?

You Mean to tell me that and rich guy or group for people with a few million dollars in the pool can just CREATE a fork by altering a few things, dump a few million into 1000s of basic websites shilling it, ads on CMC, and pay 1000 people in India, 1000 people on China, 1000 people in Malaysia, 1000 PEOPle in the Philippines 50 cents for each one shill post and share . That costs $2000 a day. So you can pay hundreds of thousands to shill the crap out of a fork.

And it will just BLOW up after you Hear a bunch of tuber video shills to tell you how amazing these people are.

These teams don't care... They care about money only. Very few care more about you than the money.

It's bullshit. Why is bullshit better than really true decentralized completed projects such as networks like APPC with 100s of millions of users?

Sooner or later this is going to catch up and these forks will tank like the economy is.

Stick to real cryptos. There's a few good ones out there. But mostly greed .
