    YAM, a De-Fi Dayfly

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:13 AM PDT

A new project, that was launched on Tuesday, showed a rapid decline this morning. Even though from the very beginning developers asked to pay attention to the fact that the code was not audited and was created 'just for fun', its price reached $167. Soon after it was launched, a bug was discovered. A huge amount of new tokens was created due to the mechanism that was supposed to balance the price of the token. It resulted in the loss of control over the network. Its governance was unable to make any decisions. And the last attempt to save YAM failed this morning. The market cap went to 0 within several minutes.

Delegated harvesting lets you passively earn block rewards on-chain. Possible?

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 06:59 AM PDT

According to people reviewing it, NEM's Symbol has an economic system that allows you to passively earn coin rewards just as if you were mining. Which they're saying is better than staking rewards given by exchanges since you don't need to put your coins on an exchange and you are earning actual block rewards.

You'll earn on-chain block rewards even when your computer is turned off, and the rewards are sent to you instantly, the moment they are earned.

Can this be a new way of earning similar to airdrops/bounties?

    Limit Order Spam?

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 12:05 PM PDT

In the orderbook, limit orders are often canceled and remade shortly below the last sell price, e.g. if the last sell price is 11,495, an order gets placed at 11,491.00 then less than a second later is canceled, then an order of the same size gets placed at 11,491.05. Is this bot activity? These orders are made and canceled so fast I don't think its human, but I also can't see the benefit. Are they trying to manipulate the price by making it look like there is more buying interest than there actually is?
