GPU Mining GPU Mining requirements |
Posted: 20 Jul 2020 05:49 AM PDT Hi guys. Due to lockdown and the economy not looking good. I'm looking at investing in building a GPU mining rig to start making money. I want to do it for the long run and would prefer to stay away from ASIC miners. Please can anyone recommend anything different or better than this build below. 1 x ASUS B250 Mining Expert 1 x Intel Core I7 6700k 1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 Desktop Memory Kit (2 x 16GB)(2400MHz) 19 x AMD Radeon™ VII Graphics Card 20 x V008S capable of being powered by 6-pin, molex, or SATA connector 1 x 256GB SSD 9 x EVGA Supernova 1600 T2 80+ Titanium, 1600W ECO Mode Fully Modular NVIDIA SLI and Crossfire Ready 10 Year Warranty Power Supply 220-T2-1600-X1 [link] [comments] |
Riser power melting power supply connector. Posted: 11 Jul 2020 05:27 PM PDT All right I've been running steady for four months no issues now I'm having this one problem on my modular power supply the risers for some reason take so much power at the point where the connector on my modular power supply melted and burned in terms of the graphics card 12 volt power there is no issues there, why is the risers taking so much power? I'm running 6 RX 570 4GB and 1 RX 480 4GB All 7 graphics card power total is 572 Watts Mining at a 29 to 30 MHs on all [link] [comments] |
