Should I buy this mining rig now? Posted: 20 Jun 2020 11:33 AM PDT I have an offer to buy a used mining rig with the following hardware specs: GPU: 7 x Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8GB Pulse Motherboard: ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K Water cooling: Corsair Hydro series H45 RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) HyperX Fury DDR4-2400MHz SSD: Kingston UV400 120GB (SUV400S37/120G) PSUs: 2 x Corsair HX Series HX1000 Platinum CASE: custom case with airflow and enough space to accommodate gpus. Ethereum 221MH/s, 54 C, 1,3 KW. Hardware has warranty and gpus have warranty until Feb 2021 Price is 1400€, I think overall the price is good given the hardware and warranty. I have free electricity from my landlord. #edit# I pay him a monthly rent including power, water etc that totally justifies an extra 90€ I calculate my ROI will be in about a year. 4 I am not new in mining I have already mining with my pc with 2 rx580 for two years. So do you believe worth this scenario nowadays where ethereum will switch to POS and maybe I need to find alternative coins?
