KYC/AML is not for preventing actual money laundering and blocking pedophiles (or drug cartels for that matter). Time for plan B.

Bitcoin Cash at the moment has the highest number of active addresses/wallets since February 2018

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 01:02 PM PDT

    Just noticed something: https://i.imgur.com/WEEtXmZ.png

The number of active addresses using Bitcoin Cash is the highest since the initial post-fork craziness subsided. Pretty cool! (A few spikes are load tests)

Source: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/activeaddresses-bch-wma7.html (hint: drag your mouse vertically or horizontally over the chart to get a better view, I've used bitinfocharts for years, but have just noticed I could do that)

EDIT: Interesting coincidence. The latest growth spurt started about a week after we started the read.cash fund ( https://read.cash/stats#Funded_/_tipped_users ), but it is a coincidence, of course - we can't possibly be responsible for 30K daily addresses growth, but I'd like to think that there's a bit of our influence in that growth (after all the fund did fund 5000 users so far).

Someone is PM me about /r/BCHTrading

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 08:15 PM PDT

To clarify, I created some BCH related subs in the past and set them private mode to avoid troll take over.

I'm not a follower of BCH anymore but I have r/BCHTrading, among others, that I created for that purpose.

If you are interested in taking that sub PM me, but it is unlikely I'll give it away or invite anyone I don't know the nick for the past 4 years.

    It's Fusion Friday!

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 01:37 PM PDT

CashFusion brings exceptional levels of privacy to Bitcoin Cash, comparable to (or maybe even superior to) other privacy coins.

CashFusion is currently in "Alpha", but it's already been used to fuse 84,250 BCH, and has reduced the size of the UTXO set by 9,627 outputs.

Early adopters, make sure to spin up Electron Cash 4.1.0 today and get that liquidity flowing! (The more people using CashFusion at once, the more Fusions happen, and the larger your "anonymity set".)

New to CashFusion? No problem. Help us reach critical mass by becoming a CashFusion tester:

And here's the CashFusion Telegram group (where you can find the links to download the CashFusion alpha build of Electron Cash)

STATUS UPDATE: Security audit ongoing! =)

Bitcoin Cash needs more developers working on protocol development if it is going to bring sound money to the world!

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 12:36 PM PDT

I am not taking sides here. The BCHD team has 2 developers. The Bitcoin ABC Team has 4 Developers.

IF we want to truly become "Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash" for the masses, with the current number of developers working on protocol development, it will take forever!

The community has rejected the IFP (Infrastructure Funding Plan) and therefore it has failed and is dead in the water.

Therefore, it is upto all of us to come up with a better funding plan so that we can have more developers working on protocol development.

I propose that all the main players, developers and the community, give this some serious thought, get together, and come up with a plan that is acceptable to all, so that Bitcoin Cash can become "the best money the world has ever seen".

We can achieve our stated goal!
