Posted: 07 Jun 2020 10:46 AM PDT I want to brainstorm with other devs here interested in building with XRP. Look at what's happening with Dai and Eth right now, through DeFi tremendous value is being unlocked for holders, and I'm thinking we kind of need that for XRP. Lending, flash loans, synthetic assets, liquidity staking, really mind-boggling innovation happening on a daily basis. There's a huge amount of holders doing nothing with their XRP, we all want to hold but wouldn't it be awesome if we could get paid to hold (stake) XRP? And that's just one of the benefits DeFi could bring to the community. If staking happens, there'll be a RUN for XRP as that would provide protection against downside momentum and that could be a part of XRP yield enhancement strategies. My question to all devs here is: how would you do it? Do you think it's possible? Me personally my angle is Rust Smart Contracts, I've seen the Xpring Rust Crates and I think there's a good amount of work to do in that direction. I really believe that at this point, innovation needs to happen at the base, at the bottom. [link] [comments] | ||
XRP Payment button for websites Posted: 07 Jun 2020 10:49 AM PDT Does such a thing exist? A simple payment button for XRP that you can embed on any website as a div or an iframe, kind of like the Kyber Network widgets. Aware of Coingate and CoinPayments, just looking for other options. Posted: 07 Jun 2020 12:32 AM PDT Hi All, Just started with crypto and bought some through Revolut. But what I noticed is that the value XRP in EUR is lower than other sites? At this moment is says 0,1752 and the internet says 0,1804 (it is always lower it seems) Can someone explain this to a newbie? EDIT: I think I've got it: Crypto fees Revolut provides cryptos from Bitstamp crypto exchange and charges a 2.5% markup on the cryptocurrencies bid or ask price. I think the price I see is directly with the 2,5% taken off? [link] [comments] |
