GPU Mining 1 fan make noise |
Posted: 23 Jun 2020 05:44 PM PDT I have a GTX 1060 FTW2+ and it is kinda quite, however, since a couple weeks I've noticed that one of the GPU fans is making some noice as if it is touching something for example when a cable touches a moving fan. I don't really know what it is [link] [comments] |
Scalability, My First Roadblock Posted: 23 Jun 2020 10:04 AM PDT So I have 2 complete 6 rx580 builds, stats are stable, temps are good while in some pretty hot temps recently in Jersey weather wise but I've approached my first real roadblock on mining, minus the 100s of other small bumps along the learning process. My next issue is scaling, safely and efficiently. I want to grow a bit more aggressively ideally a rig a month, as I've been freeing up my financials heavily this year, but I'm totally unsure of how to really scale properly. I'm not sure what is needed in order to get the proper electrical draw to my house, not really sure if I should get a dedicated space to do it or just try to do it all in my house to save profits on a space or a shed. I bought 4U chassis's, and will eventually get the racks so I can compartmentalize, but I have no idea where to go from here as far as power or where to take this project... anyone that's ever been at this cross road pls help [link] [comments] |
