    App developer question about XUMM

    Posted: 04 May 2020 12:35 PM PDT

If I'm a game developer and I want to sell in-game items (evil, I know), would it make sense for me to exchange in XRP?

For example, if users want to buy in-game items or in-game currency with a credit card, there is a 3% transaction fee that both I and the customer must collectively bare - whether I'm using Stripe, Square, Paypal, etc.

However, if the user sends XRP to an address to buy virtual currency in order to buy stuff in-game, there goes the fee.

The only problem is I don't want to have the user add their XUMM or wallet info to my site b/c I don't want to have that extra security responsibility, so how would I go about confirming who sent the XRP so I can add $ to the right account?
