Hey reddit, I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit for this but: I'm trying to set up an eGPU for my laptop and this thing won't fit into my laptops PCIe slot. Does anyone know if I can cut off this little piece highlighted in blue without damaging it?

    Issue with Inno3d P106-100

I have been fighting for a while with this card. No matter what machine I put it in (my mining rig or my second desktop) it will not start. The error I always get is the following:

The device cannot start. (Code 10)
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API

I have tried many Nvidia drivers including the following:

    • 445.87
    • 441.12
    • 436.30
    • 436.02
    • 417.22
    • 388.71

After I install the drivers listed, and load up GEforce experience it tells me there's no drivers available. I did not keep track but there were some other versions I tried that had cause BSOD errors as well.

Any thoughts out there? Or do I have a bad card? It was bought second.
