    Rx580 Polaris bios editor.

Hello. I got another rx580 from Ebay. Samsung memory, my first Samsung! At stock bios is runs 31.5 ethash. Pretty good. I used Polaris bios editor 'one click timings' now it gets 0 hashrate, and crashes. I reflashed it back to stock. Any idea why the flash isn't working? I got the bios from the silent settings on the card.

    Nicehash profitability vs fees

    Posted: 30 May 2020 08:49 AM PDT

    Hi all,

I've been seeing a bit of animosity toward Nicehash on here and I'm trying to understand what I should be mining with. I started with Nicehash and it's great, but i've been trying Awesome Miner and Miningpool Hub.

Here's the question: if I look at whattomine.com, today for example it looks like Nicehash-Ethash is 0.10c more profitable than mining whatever EtheriumClassic pool whattomine uses. Am I understanding this right?

And if Nicehash is consistent more profitable than other pools (?) then does that offset Nicehash's fees?

    Rig specs:

    5x Radeon VII, 1x RX580

    Asus Strix B450-F / Rzyen 3900X

Hashrate proxy service - Stratu.ms - Beta invitation

    Posted: 30 May 2020 05:26 AM PDT

    Hello from minerstat! 👋

We have opened Beta invitations for our new service called Stratu.ms.

In short, Stratu.ms is a hashrate proxy service that will let you deploy private stratum servers within seconds practically anywhere in the world.

Stratu.ms will work independently of minerstat, but it is operated by the same company and team. It is a service that can work alongside minerstat software and services or outside of it and it won't limit you in any way.

For Beta start you will be able to create and use Mask and Switch stratums. Later on, we are also planning to introduce Split stratum, which will allow you to distribute the hashrate amongst different pools and wallets and full API support so you will be able to manage your stratums from your own systems as well.

I'm inviting you to read more about it on our page. If you find it interesting, apply for Beta which will start first or second week of June 2020.

Using the 8x and 16x slots

    Posted: 30 May 2020 04:20 AM PDT

I'm about to buy a new case and would like to have most of the gpus inside a much as possible.i have only 1 rig in which I mine most of the time and game here and there. If I plug in my 2080 in the 16x, and both 1070tis in 8x and 4x, will the 1070tis take any performance away from the 2080 when I game? Or will the 1070tis act just like they would in a pcie 1x slot mining? Thanks

    Not Recognizing both graphics cards.

    Posted: 29 May 2020 09:35 PM PDT

I have an rtx 2060 and a 1050ti both plugged into the motherboard. my computer recognizes both cards, but when I go to a couple of different mining platforms, they only show my 2060. What could possibly be wrong?

Can I use different GPUs on the same rig?

    Posted: 29 May 2020 02:15 PM PDT

I just bought a HP ProDesk 400 G1 uses PC. It runs on Intel i-3 4130 @ 3.40 GHz with 8 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD and Windows 10 Pro. I have 2 AMD cards: XFX RX 570 4 GB (with a switch for mining) Asus RX 580 4 GB

    3 Nvidia cards GTX 1650 GTX 1050 2 GB P 106-100

Would I be able to install and mine with all cards (except the GTX 1050)?

    P106-90 3GB worth it?

    Posted: 29 May 2020 01:24 PM PDT

I've seen these cards on sale for like $30 including shipping, are they worth buying if electricity is free? According to nicehash, they should still be reasonably profitable, but I don't know if that's accounting for the memory being too small for a lot of newer algorithms
