ETH network is congested. Trx not getting through

    Posted: 02 May 2020 05:55 AM PDT

Given the user load , it seems that ETH network is facing the same issue at Bitcoin core.

To have any chance of getting transaction locked in block, a fees of less than .75 USD won't do

I selected minimal 0.02 USD fees and transaction takes almost an hour to clear....

BCH is my only hope now...

    BCH vs LN

    Posted: 01 May 2020 01:04 PM PDT

Reminder: Lightning Network White Paper, Page 55, Paragraph 3: "To enable 7B people to transact twice a day on LN it would require 133MB blocks" If you support LN as a scaling strategy to Bitcoin, you support Big Blocks

    Posted: 01 May 2020 09:07 AM PDT

Edit: Title correction - Two transactions to open the channels, not two tx a day* thanks /u/AD1AD

If all transactions using Bitcoin were conducted inside a network of micropayment channels, to enable 7 billion people to make two channels per year with unlimited transactions inside the channel, it would require 133 MB blocks (presuming 500 bytes per transaction and 52560 blocks per year). Current generation desktop computers will be able to run a full node with old blocks pruned out on 2TB of storage

The one thing the Blockstream's corporate fork of Bitcoin fears more than anything is an environment where their proprietary technology must compete. That's why they still come here to argue and mislead. That's why they cannot present anything of technical or engineering merit as an argument.

The world isn't going to change because a company like Blockstream upgrades a database for the existing banking system. It changes when individuals and teams around the world contribute to an open, decentralized system to replace legacy systems like the governments and banks that back companies like Blockstream.

I didn't sign up to work on Banking 2.0. I don't think anyone else here did, either.

Bought a voucher with BTC couple days ago, but did not receive anything! Support is not responding to my emails, sent them transaction ID but didn't hear from them.

Anybody else has used them before?

    Avoid these scammers!
