| How might the global economy crashing due to COVID-19, relate to Ripple and ODL? Posted: 20 Mar 2020 02:19 PM PDT To me it seems to reason, if people can't work, then mortgages don't get paid. If mortgages don't get paid, banks don't get paid. If banks don't get paid, they will need to either find other sources of income, or to cut costs. The banks know that ODL can cut their costs and save them money, but they haven't had the need to change yet. I could see banks being more inclined to switch to ODL in the wake of the economy falling apart due to COVID-19. Do you agree? Or do the banks have way bigger problems now and Ripple got back burnered? [link] [comments]  |
