- Just got liquidated in Maker! Thanks to the slowness of the network....haven’t been able to make a single transaction the entire day!! F this shit....that’s why crypto is still viewed as a scam. Sorry for the rant, just very pissed.

Posted: 11 Mar 2020 10:00 PM PDT This bill would eliminate all forms of private communications. That includes text, images, encrypted p2p, and some smart contracts. This would end privacy and that is what the government wants. Dont let them take it. https://blog.cryptographyengineering.com/2020/03/06/earn-it-is-an-attack-on-encryption/ [link] [comments]

I'd like to understand what are smart contracts and how could ETH benefit me Posted: 11 Mar 2020 10:35 PM PDT I know what are cryptocurrencies and some of them. I know the basics of some of them. I like Ethereum because unlike bitcoin, transfers are fast and cheap but everyone keeps mentioning smart contracts. What are they? What can they do? In simple terms if possible... I tried googling and I only found either too simple information or too hard to understand. I don't know if this "request" belongs there, sorry if it doesn't. [link] [comments]

Here we are again, down over 50% from recent peak and the network hasn't been hacked! REDUCE REWARD! Posted: 12 Mar 2020 12:18 PM PDT To all you dumb fucks who constantly say.. how do you know things will be ok if we cut reward? Well fiat reward was just cut by over 50% and nothing has happened! Cut the reward to 1 ETH or less for crying out loud. It's proven itself time and time again that it's secure enough. Please don't respond if you have the same tired bullshit arguments on why reward needs to stay the same or that reducing the reward doesn't help price because it hasn't in the past. The price will ALWAYS be higher with a reward reduction then without. The price may fall, but it will fall by less. [link] [comments]
