Trading based on other people's signals or your own?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 06:46 AM PST

Any of you guys are still day trading?

My crap approach is to make my own TA/FA but I'm almost always wrong lol (beginner here). Basically I've been attempting to day trade crypto with not much luck.

I was thinking to join a community and I found this medium article earlier today. A nice reading actually.

Ok, let's give them a try

Later Edit: Signed up with the guys from the article. Exactly what I needed lol

Transacting in Bitcoin is a joke

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 06:29 AM PST

Tried to swap some BTC for ETH in my Blockchain wallet. After 20 min, I get an email from Blockchain wallet app that my transaction expired and I need to do it again. Funds cannot be seen in my wallet yet.

Comparing this with transacting on the Ethereum network when I'm swapping instantly for various tokens, opening leveraged positions, buying insurance, sending and receiving, this is a sad joke.

    I'm done with BTC.

What are the implications for crypto of an epidemic in the US and Europe?

    Posted: 01 Mar 2020 03:35 AM PST

I am surprised this hasn't been discussed much yet. I've mostly seen posts about the minor stock market crash to date.

I've gone to cash with a substantial portion of my crypto holdings as a hedge. Am I wrong to think crypto could take a further beating due to potentially massive economic disruption in the US and the EU? I'm also surprised crypto hasn't dropped further yet given the highly volatile nature of the market. Is it really realistic that crypto has stabilised already ?

And I'm very bullish about crypto in general and especially Ethereum . But this year could be a bust and in terms of the virus it's only getting started spreading in Europe and the US. I was still loading up on crypto till a few weeks ago but now I feel things have changed.

wired.com says "Microsoft Wants to Protect Your Identity With Bitcoin", using Bitcoin for some parts and IPFS for the faster parts, but why would they use bitcoin instead of ethereum since ethereum is more programmable?

    0x (ZRX)

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 04:32 PM PST

I am continuing post my "Crypto of the Day", to help to promote discussion and ideas, and also to help myself and others learn more.

Clearly, no one can predict the future, and nothing here should be taken as financial advice. However, I am sure there are some valuable personal opinions out there, and there is definitely an entertainment value in reading stuff like this.

Regarding the crypto of the day, 0x (ZRX), I am curious of the following...

    Currently selling at $0.23.

Please post if you have any financial predictions for this project for; the next month, the end of 2020, the end of 2021, the end of 2025. I know most of you avoid this part, and that is fine. It is near impossible to predict how numbers will play out within such a volatile market.

What percent of your portfolio is this project currently?

What should we all know, good, bad, and indifferent, about this project?

It seems people are likely to post the positive in each project, but please remember that critical insight is just as useful.

Are there Expert traders that will do trades for you for a percentage of the earnings?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 03:24 PM PST

I'm basically asking if there are legit firms that will trade using your investments to get a higher interest in returns than you could yourself as a non expert trader. Is there even a such thing as an expert trader in crypto. Are these all scams?

Business Idea: Giving free trading advice and hoping for donation - Is it stupid?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 07:54 PM PST

Folks, I have been trading since 2017. I know comparing to most of you guys I'm like an amateur. I have been making steady profit from future market recently but I'm a college student having very limited money so I come up with an idea:

Post every trade I make on a discord channel. People who are too busy or too new to the market can take it as advice. If you make money from it, good, and I'll looking forward your donation. If that's bad .. I don't know.

Can it be good? Or it may be like 'who the hell are you' lol. I do future market short term mostly.

The fate of decentralized systems like DAI remains uncertain. On the one hand, it is much more difficult to ban them than corporate projects. On the other hand, they do not claim the role of new centers of power.
