| Solo mining ⇾ Not able to connect to Core Posted: 24 Feb 2020 02:32 AM PST I have posted this exact Question in another thread (Dogecoin) and they suggested that I set up Litecoin mining and add Dogecoin to that however litecoin mining didn't work either with the same error output Setup as follows below: I threw this context into the litecoin.conf: rpcuser=some rpcpassword=thing rpcport=9332 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 daemon=1 server=1 And then launched it in command prompt with the -server option. Then I went and launched cgminer 3.7.2 for Gridseed with following .conf file: { "pools" : [ ] , "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "hotplug" : "5", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "30", "scrypt" : true, "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin", "gridseed-options" : "baud=115200,freq=888,chips=40" Well it cannot connect... (pool slow or down or URL or credentials invalid) I tried to connect from a separate computer as mining Client without success. (edit: I did change the IP addresses) And now as a last Resort I contact y'all in hopes that somebody detects my error and can point it out to me / help me fix it. [link] [comments]  |
