GPU Mining Dual Graphics Cards Different Hash Rates |
Dual Graphics Cards Different Hash Rates Posted: 18 Feb 2020 11:34 AM PST Just recently setup an old PC to further delve into Mining Ethereum. Given the fact I had most of the parts I decided to go with the RX 580 as this was a great fit for my research. Setting up phoenix miner seemed pretty straight forward on a fresh install of windows 10 pro. After downloading the latest and greatest AMD drivers and software, i simply OC both cards and set them to compute. They were dual Bios GPU's so they were switched over to mining. When I started running the miner the program goes through its adjustments and calculations and I am left with GPU 1 running 16.21 and GPU 2 Running 30.79. I would expect both of these cards to pretty much run neck and neck and from some reading I can see that phoenix adjusts for optimal hash rates. Without really digging into serious tweaks I don't understand why GPU1 is half of what GPU 2 is. Anyone else experience anything like this? [link] [comments] |
