Will neo-banks like Monzo, Revolut, etc. be overtaken by the next generation of FinTech apps? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 05:44 AM PST Everyone has probably already seen the new wave of fintech banks which are on the rise right now. Monzo, Revolut, N26 etc. I've used a handful but I'm surprised with their unwillingness (or, perhaps, naivety) when it comes to incorporating crypto. The only exception really is Revolut but even so, you can't deposit or withdraw so it really seems like you're just speculating on the price. With more Ethereum friendly next gen Fintechs like Bitwala, Plutus, and Monolith, do you think they mark the end for the others like N26, Monzo, Revolut etc? I usually err on the side of a company which is crypto friendly, especially if they are increasing the use case for etheruem. [link] [comments]

Repeat transaction nonce on MEW offline Posted: 04 Feb 2020 06:50 PM PST Hi guys, looking for some help. I made the mistake of sending a transaction with low gas. From what I've read, I can use MEW to create an offline transaction. I save the json file and go to offline helper. Once I enter the address and upload the json, I notice the receiver address isn't what I entered. I wanted to repeat the transaction with zero value to my own address. Am I missing something? Thanks [link] [comments]

is there a private testnet with dapp contracts pre deployed? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:00 PM PST I have a hard time deploying contracts to ganache to experiment with. The problem becomes even worse when I need to test contracts that interact with multiple dapps. I'm considering making a script that deploys many dapps to ganache and has one account as the master to all of the oracles and admin functions, but I need to know if anyone has already done this or heard of something like this before i spend many hours working on it. Why not censorship resistant news feed? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 12:20 PM PST With the recent China shenanigans with the virus and in geenral censorship I was thinking about a service where puts news articles for major events from reputable organizations only (Reuters, Who etc) on the blockchain and an easy client to read them. This was you bypass the big China firewall right? Why doesn't this exist? [link] [comments] |
