What is the actual deal with Cardano (ADA) ?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2020 06:33 PM PST

I'm really trying to figure out what is actually going on with Cardano and why there are so many people who believe in a project that has done so little in 5 years.

For a company that is supposedly using "scientific methods" to make everything perfect, how come they can't even get a wallet to function correctly?

There are literally projects in the low million market cap range that have working wallets. What am I actually missing here?

How come we never get to hear from any of the team members. It's literally always Charles talking about the same things over and over. It's like a cult following and I personally do not have a good feeling about Charles and his jealously and salt towards other, newer and more established projects.

I was an ADA holder since 2016 but I literally sold yesterday and I'm wondering other people's thoughts on the project. I think it will still pump, not because of innovation but in the same way that Doge will pump

    Tezos XTZ

    Posted: 16 Feb 2020 05:08 PM PST

I plan to post about a different crypto daily for a while to help to promote discussion and ideas, and also to help myself and others learn more.

Clearly, no one can predict the future, and nothing here should be taken as financial advice. However, I am sure there are some valuable personal opinions out there, and there is definitely an entertainment value in reading stuff like this.

Regarding the crypto of the day, Tezos XTZ, I am curious of the following...

Currently at $3.17 after a significant market drop today, and this past week topped out at $3.73.

What do you predict for the rest of February?

What do you predict for the end of 2020? 2021? 2025?

If a person was to dump $10,000 into ONE crypto, why would you or would you not choose Tezos XTZ?

What should we all know, good and bad, about this company?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2020 09:58 AM PST

I'm a crypto tax attorney, but not your attorney. Thought I'd help with any questions. I can answer general questions but I do not know all of your facts, nor do I want to, so you should not rely on any answers given here. This is for informational purposes only and if you have any tax filing questions you should talk to a CPA or hire an attorney.

How do you choose a BAT provider?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2020 11:04 AM PST

I'm really new to cryptocurrency and obtaining BATs and using brave, so I have some questions.

My first is, what is the advantage of using Uphold over another provider like Voyager or vice versa?

When voyager first came out, i received a small amount of bitcoin, which i have sold and used to buy BATs. I have also been transferring my BATs from my uphold wallet to my Voyager account.

I'm thinking of just using one of these companies to hold the BATs, but am wondering which ones to go with and the pros and cons of using them.

Do you have a reason why you use Uphold vs the other, or are you using them because it is what brave partnered with?

Or are you using any others over Uphold?

i'm thinking i should use Uphold to keep as much BATs as possible, but voyager has not been a problem in any way for me.

Research Report: Behavior of Crypto Investors

    Posted: 16 Feb 2020 09:02 AM PST

Last week I posted my article about the Bitcoin Halving (link for those interested). It was a pretty big hit here and on a couple of other subreddits, so I've decided to share some of my other writing.

A few months ago, I conducted market research among over 400 cryptocurrency investors and summarized my findings in this article.

I go over market demographics, people's investment processes, and the biggest problems people face with crypto-investing.

I hope you find this informative. What other types of content would you guys like to see?
