Can we get block explorers to show a new stat? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 02:36 AM PST Flow rate = Number of transactions in a block / number of transactions in mempool at time of block * 100. This is quite different than txns per second, because it's independent of usage. I imagine BCH will strive for 100%, and on BTC as flow rate goes down, fees ought to go up. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Feb 2020 02:17 AM PST Hi folks, i need to split BSV from my BCH (bitcoincash) and i am not sure i found reliable information i can trust by searching the web. My idea is to liquidate the BSVs and buy BCH with it. I have BCH on 2 different wallets Trezor (the old one) Jaxx liberty Do you guys have reliable links that explain the process in detail? Thanks in advance for your help! [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 08:55 AM PST I am an IFP proponent. I think the most important(and devilishly clever) values of the proposition, which many people missed are:
But, in the grand scheme of things, $6M USD is not so much money that it would be impossible to raise using other means. I think it is definitely possible for Bitcoin ABC to raise coins worth $6M USD using different funding schemes, instead of risking so so much for so little gain. Taking such great risk needs an extremely good reason - like "BCH is dying right now without it and it needs more money immediately". But that is not the case, BCH ecosystem is actually thriving, despite BitcoinABC project being underfunded. [link] [comments]

What's the best way for an American to start trading on local.bitcoin.com? Posted: 11 Feb 2020 11:12 AM PST So I have a PayPal, but the problem is they can't be relied on not to censor. So is there a different USD-transferring mechanism with more reliability? Also, what about privacy? Which of these trading options respect user privacy the most? I guess cash in mail is an option, but that itself is really risky imo and not attractive for a casual trader. Also what's my legal obligations, and what's my risk of getting in trouble for messing something up? Honestly I'd love to just offer the network a small amount of liquidity, and to become more experienced with it. But I don't know the best way of getting started. It's way too easy to just use Coinbase. [link] [comments]

[Adoption] Mystery snack bundles that accept BCH Posted: 11 Feb 2020 11:14 AM PST Just wanted to plug Snack Crate which is a monthly snack bundle themed after a specific country each month. We were their first crypto transaction a few months ago and just ordered again for fun. They don't have it baked-in to their cart yet so you need to contact them if you want to pay with crypto. They defaulted to quoting in BTC until we said we preferred BCH. Maybe with enough interest they'll look at integrating BCH for payments as the default. :) If anyone else knows of other services like this that accept crypto drop it in here - have a few inquiries out but haven't had anything back yet.
