GPU Mining Combined CPU/GPU Rig |
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 11:11 PM PST I am trying to increase my rig density because of space limitations in the rooms where i place my miners. So far, I have physically separated Randomx CPU-rigs from GPU-based rigs. Does anyone have experience if there is any impact on performance, heating or stability if I would merge the two types in one? The CPU-rigs typically have Ryzen 3700/3900 CPU's, 16GB 3200 RAM, 750W power supply running W10. The GPU-rigs are nvidia based on (5-6 1070/P106-100) on a 1000W power supply, running W10 or Ethos. Also, I wonder about using two mining software instances on one machine. I prefer not to use nicehash. [link] [comments] |
