New to Dai collateral need help! Posted: 29 Jan 2020 01:43 PM PST So I just signed up and started using Oasis to earn interest on my staked Dai. I deposited roughly $1950 and was only able to get 1250 Dai because of the 150% limit? So now I'm earning interest on only 1250. Does this mean I basically lost 33% of my value by trying to Branch out into this style of earning? [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Jan 2020 12:27 PM PST Earlier I had an idea to create a new country for libertarians but honestly that's to lofty a goal especially at first. Things need to happen in a structured and practical way while still working towards real change and freeing people from their oppressors. Right now there are vast amounts of people across the world being oppressed by overbearing governments. From warzones in developing nations to the streets of developed countries. Separating ourselves from these governments seems like such a simple idea but in practice it's one of the hardest things to accomplish. That's why I suggest we make an outline of how we can practically live out our own lives as libertarians and at the same time free others from oppression. We should identify which populations of people across the world are already looking to separate from their government and then create a sort of organization with all these groups of people. For example Catalan is trying to separate itself from Spain and the Kurdish people are trying to separate and have their own country in the middle east. These are two groups of people both numbering in the millions working towards liberation. There are also countless other smaller groups of people currently seeking liberation. I'd like to create an organization to help these people reach Independence and when one member of our organization reaches Independence it will give wider recognition to Libertarianism and our cause. This way we could also potentially create a network of Libertarian nations which we could freely move to and live out our lives as we would like. In my eyes this is a more practical way to realize the dream of a Libertarian nation, by helping others realize the dream we will be able to realize it for ourselves. Ethereum could be used to structure everything and keep everything transparent. A dapp could be made to link all these groups of people together within our organization and facilitate the liberation we want to see take place. A Libertarian nation where Ethereum runs a lot of things sounds very futuristic but in my opinion it's a tangible and more practical use for Ethereum than a lot of things we've seen before. Once these groups of people are freed and we are able to see forward thinking countries pop up we could then one day make our own truly Libertarian nation with our own land were nothing can hold us back, that could be the end goal. If you'd like get into this and help me make it a reality I just made a sub so feel free to join: r/LiberationLand Also you can join our discord: https://discord.gg/RYHFj2B [link] [comments]
