Censorship in /r/cryptocurrency - Nano Posted: 31 Dec 2019 05:08 AM PST Check this thread which was top page all day yesterday without issue: 262 comments, 20 hours frontpage and even the /r/cryptocurrency moderators were commenting all day in it yesterday. ...And the poof. Banned for a bogus reason because the posters account was too new lol. Want to know the real reason? /u/CryptoMaximalist made a complete fool of himself over and over in that thread, so he decided to censor his show of idiocy. Check out his brainless comments and view of Nano. He shits on Nano, doesn't understand and even when told how it works he keeps referring to Bitcoin's UTXO model: Can't have a positive thread about a competing coin to Bitcoin. And no I don't hold Nano, but we must stand up for all censorship. edit1: and now they locked the thread too, so /u/CryptoMaximalist can't be embarrased further. edit2: /u/CryptoMaximalist just censored the 2nd linked thread where he made an idiot of himself. see the deleted comments here: https://www.removeddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ehntjz/this_is_good_for_nano_network_is_being_spammed_up/fcklrip/[link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Dec 2019 09:03 PM PST Last thread on this topic here Here's why consistent block times are important:
I'm looking at this from the perspective of a trader. We should not exclude traders as they move high volume of money. Speculative trading also generates a liquid market. Bitcoin sucks as a trading pair because traders leave funds on exchanges because the block congestion and this puts the trader at a security risk. That leads me to the question regarding the longterm fix for the DAA. Is the assumption that increased future hash rate will increase the likelihood of consistent block times? [link] [comments]
