Bullish Bitcoin Hashrate Continues Climbing as Halving Approaches Posted: 31 Dec 2019 05:10 AM PST Price fluctuations may be an indicator of investor sentiment. Hashrate, though, is often seen as the better market number to watch in order to truly evaluate Bitcoin adoption, and recent hashrate statistics indicate that adoption continues to grow. By all accounts, Bitcoin has had quite a tumultuous year. After starting the year more than 80% down from its all-time high, BTC recovered significantly before once again losing several thousands of dollars in value. As the halving approaches, many see a strong hashrate as an indicator of strong future price action. Substantial miner activity indicates that few miners have capitulated ahead of the reward halving. Such mining activity indicates that block transaction fees are enough to drive miners into the market. All of this information is ultimately bullish for Bitcoin. The short term price may move in different directions, but the long term curve should be positive. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Dec 2019 08:38 AM PST So I'm 19 and through a very bad mistake I lost close to 3000$, which is a lot of money to me at my age. For the past week I've been tired of living, wanting to stay in bed and just sleep all day thinking hopefully this is just a dream. I've been trading for about 2 months and through a lot of trades I managed to finally double my investment. Like everyone striking a lot of succesful trades in a short period of time I felt invincible and leveraged more than usual. Before I even put a stop loss the price went down 100$. Still having some hope left I didn't close my position and after rising a bit the price went down another 100. Price hit my stop loss and lost a ton of money, 40%, close to 3000$. Since then I've had depression, considering myself a failure in life and all the work I've done in a month just evaporated through one mistake. I've posted this here since I know there are many people who went through this and I need some advice. [link] [comments] |
PSA: something fishy goin on TradeSatoshi - BTC withdrawal problems Posted: 30 Dec 2019 10:05 PM PST I have decided to dump one of the BTC forks (as one does) and after a few days of slow trading decided to withdraw the winnings. I go to the withdrawal process and am confronted with an error: "Currency not found or is currently disabled or is currently withdraw disabled." https://i.imgur.com/eMF5X0e.png I wait a day to retry and then write to the support - the reply is kinda weird:
https://i.imgur.com/xnxKUUC.png The status page keeps saying a-ok for BTC: https://i.imgur.com/31NXoTz.png I go to twitter and do a general question (and slight accusation):
https://twitter.com/mr_nejc/status/1211766489063346181 ... I wake this morning and I'm blocked on twitter ... not all is OK in land of TradeSatoshi [link] [comments] |
