Where can I find Bitcoin ABC PGP keys?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 03:52 PM PST

Long story short I'm creating a website that accepts cryptocurrency natively which means I'm running full nodes for all coins that will be accepted. I can't find Bitcoin ABC PGP keys anywhere to verify the software download and the only link I could find is dead https://github.com/Bitcoin-ABC/bitcoin-abc/blob/master/contrib/gitian-keys

Anybody know where I can find them?

    Call to action for COINME.com

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 05:14 PM PST

Email support@coinme.com and please ask them to provide Bitcoin Cash at their atms. There are 14 ATMs in the Spokane Washington area that are a pain unless they accept Bitcoin Cash. This could be major adoption for the whole inland Northwest if we all send emails out and they make the change. Remember! End The Fed Use Bitcoin Cash Instead!

    More BTC maxi hypocrisy.

Vitalik to maxis: I deliberately wrote [this article] to have a standard on-hand thing to reply with that's maximally accessible when anyone *does* bring up the way-too-common "bitcoin is a simple layer 1 protocol that layer 2 protocols to add other functionality should be built on top of" line.

Context.io is a great tool for Bitcoin Cash adoption. Expecially when people don't have internet available. It allows people to text Bitcoin Cash!

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 09:06 AM PST

Texting (sms) Bitcoin Cash can be easily adopted by the general public. Thankfully https://cointext.io enables this! A merchant could be out in the middle of nowhere and still accept Bitcoin Cash.

Could we please have post flairs for wallets and tools that people might need support with? Many people use r/btc to get support about wallets like Electron Cash and post flairs could make searching for posts much easier.

Looking for a nice BCH wallet on Android & Linux

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 11:17 PM PST

Hello guys! As in the title, I'm looking for a decent BCH wallet. It should supports basic features like SPV and not too cluttered , and open source. I tried searching F-Droid but has got none. I'm considering Electron Cash or Bitcoin.com Wallet (the latter one seems to be more popular). What do you guys think?

BTC was never meant to BE "cash"...

    Posted: 28 Dec 2019 01:23 AM PST

From the first line of the Bitcoin Whitepaper's Abstract:

"A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution" (emphasis added)

A purely peer-to-peer VERSION of e cash.... In other words, NOT (only) e cash itself, but a VERSION.

Cash was just likely the closest, most easy thing to it that we could comprehend, that was Like BTC, but not it.

See, others ADDED all this "It's supposed to BE cash." And latched on to that like wildfire. Why would you want CASH?? We already HAVE THAT!!! That word was probably used, like I said, bc what btc actually was too new, too foreign of a concept, so calling it "cash" would be easier. So they said CASH.

BCH says they're trying to "preserve" and "maintain what BTC was "supposed" to be, and I'm not here to presume intentions.. But imo, intentionally or not, vying to "stay cash" is NOT bitcoin. it is, as the whitepaper itself clearly states, merely a Version....
