To the person who keeps trying to hack our dapp Mintable - will you please stop? It won't work

    Posted: 29 Nov 2019 12:38 AM PST

We've had a series of attempts to gain access into our dapp, and they have all failed, for over a month now.

Will you please stop? It's not going to happen, we've only increased our security because of you, making your goal even harder.

We don't have any user funds, private keys, or anything damaging to any of users, so what's the point here? We've added so many extra steps in order to do so, it's like we are an exchange at this point. But we are not, we are only a tool to help people.

But anyways, thanks for testing our security measures and making them stronger.

edit: If there are any security issues found, I encourage the person who found them to reach out to us and we will be happy to award a bounty for finding said security issues.

Can ethereum smart contract hold eth assets?

    Posted: 29 Nov 2019 12:34 PM PST

I want to make a smart contract that can hold and autonomously distribute other erc tokens without relying on trusting human action. Is this possible?

Are there any tutorials about this?

I'm So sorry, for the newbie question, just don't know where to learn exactly what a smart contract is capable of autonomously. I've gone through a few tutorials but they are all toy examples with setters and getters.

    Thanks for your help!

Even though DigixDAO is proposing to dissolve, Bullionix is still moving forward

    Posted: 29 Nov 2019 07:51 AM PST

Its been a tough day for the DigixDAO community with an officially published piece suggesting best practices for the possible dissolution of the DigixDAO. Bullionix is funded by and wouldn't have been possible without that community's support.

That's why the irony is quite heavy as today Bullionix.io also just went live.

Bullionix is a first-of-its-kind dapp that enables anyone to mint gold-backed NFTs. This is achieved by way of staking varying amounts of DGX tokens to them. To learn more, check out the website and/or read our latest Medium piece, Introduction to Bullionix -- the first gold-backed NFT collectible
