"You have to admit, that from a fundemental analysis perspective #BCH has radically improved over the last year. Objectivly speaking, dividends, recurring payments, offline smart cards, oracles and covenants. This tech combined with the new ecosystem fund, is simply phenomenal."

Due to high fees on BTC network, CoinEx permanently ends withdrawal of BTC-based Tether

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 12:51 PM PST

The fees on the BTC network are too expensive, so CoinEx has ended support for withdrawing BTC-based Tether.

For a better user experience, CoinEx recommends using Ethereum-based Tether.

For an even better user experience and lower fees, I'd recommend using Bitcoin Cash (BCH) or Bitcoin Cash based tokens (SLP tokens).

    Quotes from the announcement:

"the transaction fees of Omni-USDT are relatively expensive, so we've decided to close the withdrawal of it"

"For better user experience, it's advised to withdraw ERC20 or TRC20 USDT."

    https://announcement.coinex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036131012-Omin-USDT-Withdrawal-Closed-Permanently

This continues a trend of switching from BTC to more functional blockchains. Earlier this year, Bittrex swapped over 69 million BTC-based Tether to Ethereum-based Tether, boasting that the upgrade away from the BTC network "Reduced withdrawal fees for USDT by 80%":

New Bitcoin Core (BTC) Narrative: "will be" Store of Value ‍♂️

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 03:59 PM PST

Sadly, it looks like /r/cryptocurrency is still censoring posts that don't align with moderator opinions (their bags)

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 08:11 AM PST

I will try to write this short and succinct and in a timeline for clear understanding of what happened, details and evidence provided throughout the post.

As most know, yesterday there was a live event where Roger Ver along with industry leaders like the good folks at Blockchain.com and others announced the $200 million BCH fund. Live stream here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7ViJd6VGOs and short clip of fund announcement here https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/dz3d6d/announcement_video_clip_of_200_million_bitcoin/

After the announcement, user /u/Mr-Zwets posted the BCH news to /r/cryptocurrency here https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/dz0euw/this_is_big_news_for_bitcoin_cash/

The post was removed somewhere around ~3 hours later by /r/cryptocurrency mods. They posted the reason for the removal here https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/dz0euw/this_is_big_news_for_bitcoin_cash/f84qcr3/

The reason was no source, link, "no anything" (no context)...okay...you can see my comments here about it here https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/dz0euw/this_is_big_news_for_bitcoin_cash/f84um5d/?context=3

After that reason for the removal given, I had something to go off of to repost it so the post will then be within the sub's "standards" so it doesn't get removed.

    Here is my repost https://old.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/dz328d/roger_ver_announces_200_million_bitcoin_cash_fund/

In the repost I clearly added all the sources to stay within their "standards" including the event link, live stream link, and original content link https://old.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/dz328d/roger_ver_announces_200_million_bitcoin_cash_fund/f84v9fk/

Then at some point between my post Nov 20 14:51:26 UTC and now, the post was removed (censored). This time the mods waited a long time for people to comment, for votes to come in, and what appears to be the next day when it happened, to then silently censor the post so it's gone from the Reddit indexing and from the whole sub (if you try to view /new up through yesterday it's gone). The post then appears organic to people looking, like me, but it's not and has been removed completely.

Here is additional proof that it's been censored:

As is abundantly clear, /r/cryptocurrency censored the post for no reason other than to silence any posts about Bitcoin Cash that are good news. This has happened many times in the past. Honestly, I don't feel like spending more time on this digging up the past claims and details, but I'm sure community members here will post whatever they have if they want. The point is, censorship is taking place on /r/cryptocurrency still and has in the past and the mods there (not sure who) are clearly bias and trying whatever they can to please special interests (being their own or others).

Edit: Aaaaand like that, I was banned from /r/cryptocurrency for questioning the mods!

Screen shot https://imgur.com/a/3WVkf99 and message below:

You have been temporarily banned from participating in r/CryptoCurrency. This ban will last for 30 days. You can still view and subscribe to r/CryptoCurrency, but you won't be able to post or comment.

    Note from the moderators:

Rule 10 and Rule 5. Simple posts to images do not count as high quality. We are not able to filter through comments to check for validation on sources. If you're making a post that needs a source, please be sure to post the actual source as your post itself. Also, making up removal reasons is no longer tolerated either. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with our new rules (https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/wiki/expanded_rules#wiki_rule_x_-_communicate_with_the_mod_team) before returning to avoid a permanent ban. Thanks!

If you have a question regarding your ban, you can contact the moderator team for r/CryptoCurrency by replying to this message.

Reminder from the Reddit staff: If you use another account to circumvent this subreddit ban, that will be considered a violation of the Content Policy and can result in your account being suspended from the site as a whole.

Is there anyone here that feels LN makes sense? Can you help me understand?
