Rule Number 1: Trade with a plan and stick to it.

Rule Number 2: Trade with the trend. "The trend is your friend!"

Rule Number 3: Use stop-loss orders whenever practical.

Rule Number 4: When in doubt, get out!

Rule Number 5: Be patient. Never overtrade.

Rule Number 6: Let your profits run; cut your losses short.

Rule Number 7: Never let a profit run into a loss. (Or always take a free position if you can.)

Rule Number 8: Buy weakness and sell strength. Be just as willing to sell as you are to buy.

Rule Number 9: Be an investor in the early stages of bull markets. Be a speculator in the latter stages of bull markets and in bear markets.

Rule Number 10: Never average a loss-don't add to a losing position.

Rule Number 11: Never buy just because the price is low. Never sell just because the price is high.

Rule Number 12: Trade only in liquid markets.

Rule Number 13: Never initiate a position in a fast market.

Rule Number 14: Don't trade on the basis of "tips." In other words, "trade with the trend, not your friend." Also, no matter how strongly you feel about a stock or other market, don't offer unsolicited tips or advice.

Rule Number 15: Always analyze your mistakes.

Rule Number 16: Beware of "Takeunders."

Rule Number 17: Never trade if your success depends on a good execution.

Rule Number 18: Always keep your own records of trades."

Bitcoinpaperwallet.com - scam or not? 4 BTC stolen.

Bitcoinpaperwallet.com - scam or not? 4 BTC stolen.

I used Bitcoinpaperwallet.com a lot in the past to make paper wallets or rather, I used it to get access to the HTML file to generate the paper wallets offline. Never had and issues, until now. Last year I proposed to my wife by giving her an origami ring with a BIP-38 encrypted paper wallet key inside. The wallet contained 4 BTC - probably the world's most valuable origami ring. Now, over 1 year later, we just checked to see if the coins are still there and to our horror they are not! The public wallet address is 17vDMhe1Ym9XQMyaa6ahW4fvU5ibVCniBi and it looks like the coins were spent just 4 days after I loaded them. That was even before I gave her the ring so bitcoinpaperwallet.com must be the thief here. I cannot see how else the coins are magically spent?

I have other crypto holdings intact and my computer is secure so I am doubting any malware or hack on my side. What I can't remember is if I loaded the HTML generator offline or if I used it online at Bitcoinpaperwallet.com. It's quite probable I got sloppy and used it online.

I see other websites still recommending Bitcoinpaperwallet.com and can only find one or two reports of a scam on the forums. Does anyone here have any concrete information on this service? It certainly seems like they have stolen my wife's engagement gift. I really hate thieves...

Seems like there is nefarious things happening in bitcoin cash land. As of 02 sep, a pool or pools of miners have reached more than 51% of the hashing power on the bitcoin cash blockchain. They haven't idenified themselves. Is an attack imminent? We will see..

Just seen the announcement, bx.co.th is shutting down this month.

It was one of the better exchanges, good support and very fast to do deposits. Is there a good alternative for those of us that live in Thailand or send money here ?
