Seeking a developer/coder to assist with an ERC721 Project

    Posted: 05 Aug 2019 12:51 PM PDT

    Hey guys,

I'm working on an exciting ERC721 project.

ERC721 is the interface used to create non-fungible tokens (think Crypto Kitties).

It's super exciting idea that brings something new and exciting to the crypto space, notebaly and what sets it apart is the fact it has a charitable element built in that will really have a positive impact on the world we live in.

Problem is, I'm no coder. I have some basic Solidity knowledge. I've messed around and created my own ERC20 Token on the Rinkeby Testnet (using YouTube guides). However the 721 interface is a touch too advanced for me, with some features I don't know how to utilise properly. Even using the OpenSea tutorial, which is supposedly quite simple I still get a little lost.

I'm ideally seeking a partner for the project that really knows what they're doing.

Drop me a message if you're interested and I'd be delighted to share the details.

If I'm positing this in the wrong section, please let me know where would be a better place to find someone?

Why the "dapp browser" is not the browser of web3

    Posted: 05 Aug 2019 06:41 PM PDT

One of the main selling points of an open blockchain system with tokens is the ability to use that token anywhere.

If you want to add a hat to your cryptokitty or invest your token into compound and then other platforms or have an insurance token that works with multiple services, a website cannot express that many relationships dynamically.

Not even mentioning the security problems associated with websites acting as dapps, we can see that the future requires a more dynamic architecture which enables each token to seamless plugin to other services which are not explicitly defined or agreed on by the token issuer.

To see our take on where this can go, read about our open framework, TokenScript: https://github.com/AlphaWallet/tokenscript

What is this address doing sending 911 wei?

    Posted: 05 Aug 2019 05:06 AM PDT

I noticed this address (0x33538B3808aA60F88D9564Bc93e2F70B51E79A55) sending 911 wei to seemingly random eth addresses. Any idea why this would happen?

    Smartcontracts Question

    Posted: 04 Aug 2019 11:27 PM PDT

In the future - say 3-4 years....is it likely we will have template smart contracts that are easy to use? For instance - could friends put an agreement onto a smart contract (that involved value and conditions).

Or - will SCs always be created by coders, for corps?

I know Matrix AI (MAN) is looking to simplify Smart Contracts, but this project is dying it looks like / or a chinese scam.
