Kyber Network is not a DEX, it is a DeFi Platform

    Posted: 26 Aug 2019 05:40 AM PDT

Kyber Network is often perceived as just a DEX for token swaps. But it's not really a DEX and most of its features often go unnoticed. I wrote the following article explaining why it's not a DEX and listed other features of Kyber.

What are developers using besides Infura?

    Posted: 26 Aug 2019 11:50 AM PDT

I was thinking about Matt Odell's tweet pertaining to the "entire" Ethereum network being supported by Infura; How the pursuit of decentralisation ended up becoming centralised again.

I'm interested in hearing what developers are using instead of Infura.

How will the Serenity upgrade affect ETH payments?

    Posted: 26 Aug 2019 08:41 AM PDT

after bitcoin, ETH is the second most widely accepted cryptocurrency for payments.
from my current understanding, wallets/contracts after the serenity upgrade will be partitioned into shards.
shards may be organized by contracts/application/usage.
will normal wallet addresses reside in one shard?
if not, how will the supposedly slow cross-shard communication impact normal c2b/c2c payments?
will transaction times and/or fees increase?

Question about Dai and network traffic.

    Posted: 26 Aug 2019 05:32 AM PDT

So coinbase has bugged me for so long about earning free crypto for taking those easy quizzes. I've completed all of them except one to receive $14 of Dai, which is ran on the Eth network.

For the past 5 days the tutorial won't let me start because it says "the eth network is currently experiencing high traffic. Come back and try later".

Does anyone know when this will die down?
