So, browsing /r/btc I see a thread about another user, I guess a popular "YouTuber" jumping on board with Bitcoin Cash. I don't know who the guy is, but watching I immediately like him for some of the things he says, not even specifically about Bitcoin Cash. However, then comes the point where he says this:

"I support you Roger. I support you 100% and I would like to personally invite you ... where you can help manage your community, your Bitcoin Cash community so that they can help you grow your mission..."

Friends, this is so frustrating. We just celebrated the 2nd anniversary of Bitcoin Cash, and yet we still have people thinking it's a side project created by one person, namely Roger Ver, maybe even his "scam".

Not only do we have to explain to an uninformed world that the Bitcoin project was hijacked, but we have to explain the Bitcoin Cash community was once the majority of the Bitcoin BTC community! The original community! This is just historical fact. Polls on Bitcointalk.org showed support for a big block proposal, BIP 101, from Gavin Andresen at over 80%. Bitcoin failed to remove the temporary 1MB spam cap because a few highly... passionate individuals blocked ALL efforts to change that cap, which eventually resulted in Bitcoin Cash forking on August 1, 2017.

THAT is historical fact. While Roger Ver is a very, very important and effective participant in the Bitcoin Cash community, and it's probably true that community wouldn't be near as far along as it is now without him, he is NOT the person responsible for the creation of the BCH community! He is not alone! Very many passionate "big blockers" besides Roger Ver, and indeed having differing skills sets, make up the Bitcoin Cash community, and the false narrative is a reason people say things like "wow, did I underestimate this community". Note: this isn't a knock on Roger Ver. It's clear his actions in the BCH community have disproportionately contributed to its success.
