Anyone using an EVGA superNova 1200w P2? Posted: 02 Jul 2019 02:30 AM PDT I'm using the 750w version of the P2 for over a year now. I wanted to buy a second 750w but noticed that there are many people selling the 1200w version on eBay and that the 1200w version is actually cheaper than the 750w. Are there any problems with the 1200w P2? Maybe it's just miners selling the parts of there rigs. Since most people don't need such large PSUs the price is low. What would be the best way to connect that PSU to 6x1660ti? It got 6x8pin 2x6pin and 5xMolex The 8 pin cables will go into the cards but the means I'm left with 2x6pin and 5xMolex to connect 6 risers. I could use 2 molex to 6pin adapters and a 6pin splitter but is that a good idea? [link] [comments]

Vega 56 price just jumped by $100. Posted: 01 Jul 2019 11:18 AM PDT Anyone know what's going on? Why is vega price jumping? Navi is coming out quite soon. If anything, price of old cards should go down. Why would anyone buy a vega 56 for mining now day? The only coin good for vega 56 is Monero and it is moving away from a GPU centric mining algo in october. [link] [comments]

Should I get the 1080 ti or 2070? Posted: 01 Jul 2019 04:14 PM PDT So I can buy the 1080ti for $700 or the 2070 for $500. Which is the best card to buy? Which will hold me on for the next year or two of mining and will give me the most profit? I feel like the 2070 will future-proof me but the 1080ti might be most profitable in the next two years or so. [link] [comments]
RX580s with extremely low hashrate on SMOS Posted: 01 Jul 2019 09:00 AM PDT Hi all, I've been trying to avoid making a post about this, because I figured I could debug it myself. But it's been about two weeks of banging my head against the wall with no progress. So I've decided to finally lean on the community and see if they have any insight! I've got two mining rigs I am running via smos. Miner01 has eight nVidia 1070s and seems to be running as expected (well, except for the one time that some power cables burnt out. That was scary). Miner02 has eight AMD rx580s and not doing quite as well. Here is a picture of Miner2's dashboard. As you can see, cards 0 through 2 are not getting their clocks set up properly and are running at under 5MH/s each. Cards 3 through 7 have their overclocking setting driven correctly and are getting 25-30 MH/s each. Here is a picture of the overclock settings for Miner2. Nothing looks concerning to me, but obviously, I must be missing something or else it would be working correctly. Any ideas?! If you need more information to solve this case, I'm willing to answer any reasonable question. [link] [comments] |
