    I'm from Boston. Haven't ever been to europe. I took my wife on a vacation to a small island in Greece. Not a ton of americans there. Somehow at dinner last night we bump into a guy from nashville who hears us speaking english and just wanted to tell us the restaurant we were in line for was worth the wait. Turns out he runs a crypto podcast (https://bitcoinsandgravy.com/). I tell him I've been holding Litecoin for years and his eyes light up. We start an 40 min long conversation about Litecoin and crypto adoption.

    Could use some help finding my old LTC

    I converted some BTC to LTC years back and I'm trying to figure out how to get access to it again. I have notes but they're a mix of my BTC info and the LTC info and I'm not sure which goes with LTC. The two things that I suspect might be LTC related are a 18 word phrase and a 64 character string.

    I'm guessing I installed the LTC software then did something to generate those? Do I need to reinstall the LTC software now?

    Litecoin-qt Wallet Passphrase Issues

    Hi All,

    I'm just in the process of recovering an old Litecoin Core wallet from 2013.

    I have a copy of the old wallet.dat file and have replaced the default wallet on a fresh install of the latest version of Litecoin-Qt with it. Balance and transactions show up correct however I am having issues with the wallet passphrase.

    I have what I believe to be the passphrase written down from 2013 however it isn't accepted. I have another copy of the written passphrase that I will check when I am next able to at the end of July.

    Apart from the passphrase simply being wrong, are there any technical issues that might be to blame for the passphrase not being accepted e.g Is it worth trying an older version of Litecoin-qt?

    Anything else to try?

    Will halving hurt the ecosystem?

    Will miners stop mining and move their machines over to other altcoins once LTC rewards halve? And will lack of miners hamper adoption as a means of Payment by driving up transaction times?
