- We've started accepting BCH on our CBD site
- WHY?
- "The claim “Bitcoin was purpose-built to first be a Store of Value” is false. In this article I've posting every single instance I could find across everything Satoshi ever wrote related to store of value or payments. It wasn't even close. Payments win."
- When's the next BTC/BCH 4-day downtime so I can prepare? ^_^
- "Effective immediately, RBC will no longer be allowing the use of RBC credit cards for transactions involving cryptocurrency. "
- On down days I light up my green Satoshi candle and pray to make BCH get green candles

- I believe the BCH denomination is the best (in contrast to bits, cash and sats), if used with eight digits & spaces: 0.001 234 00 BCH. This way both the BCH and the satoshi amount is immediately clear. Once the value of a satoshi gets close to 1¢, the dot can simply be dropped.

Posted: 06 Jun 2019 06:57 AM PDT The most recent refresh of 1ML shows Lightning Network capacity down more than 50BTC today and around 150BTC from the peak in early May. The USD capacity had been steady off of the relative strength of BTC itself, but this recent refresh is a clear reduction in both BTC and USD value represented on the network. Lightning Network passed the 1000BTC mark back in March, but had relatively flat activity thereafter. This may be short-term noise as a single node going on or offline can greatly affect capacity, but the trendline of LN hasn't looked too promising since the March spike. You can see the Long-term graph of LN capacity shows this number represents a 14% reduction of BTC since the capacity peak of May 9th and an 18% reduction in USD capacity since the peak on May 27th. Edit /u/knudix was kind enough to point out the source of this decrease It appears that the lnbig service is starting some sort of autopilot feature. I'd like to point out that The LN optimist will say "that capacity will still be available to those who request it." The LN pessimist would say "the script closed 67BTC worth of unused capacity on a network championed on the fact that "you should never have to close a channel." [link] [comments] | ||
