    How can XRP increase in value (significantly) before entire escrow amount is released? (Genuine Question - no FUD)

    I hold quite a bit XRP since mid 2017 and have always believed in XRP and Ripples mission. I still do, but have started questioning the ability of a short term significant price increase for quite some time now. Mainly because of the amount in escrow.

    Obviously the price is driven by demand. This could be demand through speculators, as in last bull run or usage through xRapid, Corda, Coil and so forth. In last bull run the escrow contract was literally just signed. My thought is that even a massive increase in demand, which would theoretically increase value will be strangled by the monthly 1bn release from escrow. A usage increase overall would cause demand in the open market and its exchanges, but equivalently create demand towards the escrow contracts. These XRP will find their way back to the open market unless financial institutions start holding XRP. The way I see it the price can only go up significantly once demand is so high that it exceeds the 1bn release from escrow or the burn rate picking up significantly as well to cover some of the release. This is unrealistic however.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, which I do hope so. I'm happy to hold until this demand game happens, but I can't wrap my around an increase in price as the inflationary value is too high until all XRP are in the open market. Let me know if I'm missing something here.

    Edit: I should mention that I started thinking about this because every good news is causing nothing whatsoever. The only explanation I could come up with is the above.

    Why are so many Ripplenet customers using xCurrent, but not xRapid?

    It's my understanding that xRapid is just an even better addition to xCurrent by improving liquidity and overall savings (about another 20% or so). So why are all these large customers and partners using xCurrent instead of utilizing xRapid straight off the bat? Is xCurrent looked at as more of a finished product compared to xRapid? Users first test the system with xCurrent and plan on moving to xRapid in the future? Thanks for any explanations!

    So someone transfered 1000xrp from my GateHub account 1 month ago....

    Hi guys, need some help:

    So I have 2FA enabled plus email notifications enabled as well on my gatehub account. I had abt 1075xrp sitting in account for about 5 years and today I wanted to transfer them to another wallet.

    So just logged in today to transfer my XRP to new wallet and turns out 1 month ago someone already transferred 1000xrp...

    I did not get any email notifications or anything.

    This looks so sketchy.. Whats going on here? Any idea? I have already email support but dont think I would be getting any answers anytime soon. Any help would be appreciated.
