Block Regatta - Boat Racing on the Blockchain Posted: 13 May 2019 07:05 PM PDT Hi all, Thought I'd post my latest project here, Block Regatta. It's a little boat racing game I made that uses block hashes as a source of randomness to move the boats. I've written a Medium article explaining how/why it works, and if you want to just jump into the smart contract code, you can view it here on GitHub. I've been told mobile wallets don't like it, so will attempt that this weekend. But for now I need to catch up on 3 weeks sleep and work so if you want to check it out you might need to use a desktop browser. I hope you guys enjoy it, and welcome any feedback. Beware of squid attacks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 06:52 PM PDT Molochasaurus Project Link 👹 Wanted to learn about MolochDAO, but the information I found wasn't very organized. Rather than just creating a pile of bookmarks like I usually do, I created a place for it all. My goal in doing this is that it was fun, it would help me learn by organizing information about MolochDAO, and it might help others learn about the project too. The best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer, so here we are. - If you like Molochasaurus or found it helpful please let me know! - If you think Molochasaurus could be improved, is inaccurate, or is missing stuff please let me know! - If you have ideas on how MolochDAO could be improved or have ideas on how to sustainably fund open source development I'm curious about that too! HomepageAll content was aggregated from various MolochDAO quotes/tweets/blogs. I hope this generally communicates the missions and high level features of MolochDAO, but I really just started digging into the project yesterday so sorry if it sucks. If you think there are other interesting features/things that should be highlighted, or any new projects/features that I missed please let me know! MeditationsI've been putting off reading the Slate Star Codex MEDITATIONS ON MOLOCH post for a few months now. I've always wanted to read it, but it's so long... and the text is so small, and it so long... Anyways, thought it might help to roll it out in more friendly format that's also broken into sections. Then you can approach it in chunks and hopefully it looks a little better on mobile. KnowledgeThis is where I want to aggregate all the blog posts and resources available to learn about MolochDAO. Searching "MolochDAO" on DuckDuckGo and combing through the MolochDAO Twitter only brought up a a handful of articles things that weren't just generic marketing fluff. I'm sure I'm missing tons of stuff here though. I'd really like to find more resources that explain the product/market fit of MolochDAO (supporting the commons is a huge problem that needs to be solved) as well as the underlying cryptoeconomic mechanisms that it make it possible (DAOs, ragequit, etc). This is to satisfy my own curiosities, but also so that more people can understand how these things work and use them to solve hard problems in the world. Please share any resources you know that would help with this! :) The GuildThis part is hard because a lot of MolochDAO members are anonymous (at least as far as I can tell from the members page without doing extra digging). My thinking is that highlighting prominent members of MolochDAO creates social proof that might incentivize more people to learn about the project (hearing Vitalik joined is why I finally bothered move MolochDAO research from my to-do list to my doing list). In the future I would like this section to showcase projects that MolochDAO has funded and shipped to support the development of Ethereum2.0. - What do you think are the most interesting projects that have already been funded? - What do you think are the most interesting projects in the pipeline? - What projects/problems are top of mind that no one is giving enough attention to? I'd really like to know what you think! FooterThe footer just links to all the MolochDAO stuff I could find. Am I missing anything? Open IssuesThere's still a few open issues that I need to fix, but I wanted to share and get feedback sooner than later while I'm still in the drafting/editing mindset. That being said, hopefully the following things will be resolved by the time you read this: - Meditations sections 6, 7, and 8 are not done - the text in the docs is too dark (it shows up as white on my screen due to a dark reader, but I need to make that change globally) - the "users" page is currently empty. I think it makes sense to showcase finished and in progress MolochDAO projects there, but time will tell... Anyways... hope all this is valuable to someone, but if not I'm having fun making it. Look forward to finding more resources/info on MolochDAO, esp stuff that explores and explains the token/incentive mechanisms behind it. If anyone has any leads please comment :) [link] [comments]

ETH transaction not received. Can someone please assist? Posted: 13 May 2019 04:55 AM PDT I made a transaction to my Ledger Nano S ETH wallet from Wirex that has not been credited. It shows as an Internal Transaction (0.333 ETH) but the funds have not been added: https://etherscan.io/address/0x3BbDa23d01EF536Ceee82520dFcC6CF96412De7e#internaltx Wirex have told me 'contact the receiving party so they process the payment' but I do not understand what does that mean? Who is the receiving party and how is the payment processed? Can someone assist please? [link] [comments]
