Does E2EE in Matrix.org using megolm apply when using bridges? Posted: 01 May 2019 12:53 PM PDT Matrix and [Riot](riot.im/) are great application, especially when it comes to real world adoption of secure messaging that is also not centralized walled-garden like Wire, Signal or Telegram. They support many bridges, and they helped me stay on IRC and XMPP networks. While I know Matrix is using E2EE algorithm similar to Signal and they call it OLM and that it has been reviewed, I am just wondering does same encryption apply when using bridges (for example IRC, or Discord or Skype), since it has not been said in review nor on wikipedia, neither could I find it in their Docs? Making an Public Key encryption program Posted: 01 May 2019 05:18 AM PDT I would like to make my own Public key encryption program to secure my files. I want to do this to better understand this area of math/science bc it fascinated me. Could anyone link me to a class/tutorial showing me how to do this, I do not need it to be user-friendly, but if it shows how to make GUI for it that would be incredible. Thank you!
