BITBOX SDK v7 is live! 100% refactor from Babel to Typescript and much more!

    Posted: 10 May 2019 01:13 AM PDT

I'm very pleased to announce BITBOX v7 is live! This is a complete refactor from Babel to typescript. Our goal is to create professional-grade software and typescript provides the abstractions to take BITBOX to an entirely new place. Thanks to James_Cramer for helping debug.

All documentation has been updated. All BITBOX scaffolds (angular, react, next, node, vue and websockets) have been updated as well.

Changes include interfaces for all classes and returned data structures. Data types for all method definitions, arguments/parameters and variables. All interfaces are also defined in the docs.

    New functionality includes:

    Over 2000+ passing tests .

Bitcoin: an idea, or a brand name?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 12:37 AM PDT

Bitcoin (the idea) may or may not succeed.

However, if Bitcoin (the idea) succeeds, one of two things must be true:

    1. Bitcoin succeeds with small blocks (BTC), or

    2. Bitcoin succeeds with large blocks (BCH)

Everyone who had Bitcoins prior to the split received equal amounts of tokens on the "big block Bitcoin" chain and on the "small block Bitcoin" chain. So everyone who had Bitcoins prior to the split was given the opportunity to win irrespective of which strategy ultimately turns out to be the winning strategy.

If you really believe in Bitcoin (the idea) it doesn't matter to you if it succeeds with big or small blocks. In fact, if you really believe in Bitcoin (the idea) then the idea that there exist two parallel Bitcoins is a good thing because whichever strategy wins, means Bitcoin wins.

So why is it so vitally important to some people that the "big block Bitcoin" not be called "Bitcoin?"

Why would it be such a terrible thing if the big block Bitcoin became the winning Bitcoin that changed the world?

The utility of cryptocurrency far outweights its value as a purely speculative asset. This is why even today gold is not the dominant store of value. This is why I do not invest in BTC and see much more value in assets with real utility such as ETH and BCH.

Bitcoin BTC - A Dead Coin Walking

    Posted: 09 May 2019 09:55 AM PDT

    Here is why:

Bitcoin BCH has negligible fees, instant 0-conf transactions and blocks are uncongested by design. Little wonder places like North Queensland are growing Bitcoin BCH adoption double-digits each month!

My Bitcoin BCH has a future, blockstream/core's BTC is a dead-coin-walking.

Imagine Blockstream did to Linux what they’re doing to Bitcoin.

    Posted: 09 May 2019 06:51 AM PDT

Imagine Linux was such a great hit, that when Linus released it, he was scared tyrants like Eicrosoft and Opple would absolutely shred him to pieces for having done so: He brought down their empire, basically.

Because of this, Linus releases Linux and disappears.

Now imagine one company, say, Eicrosoft, invests in another company called "Blocklinux" and that company now dominates the source code of Linux, limits its swap memory to 1 MB only, because EVERY USER MUST BE ABLE TO INSTALL LINUX on every other toaster or carrot peeler.

Now and obviously, savvy users notice the absurdity of what Blocklinux is doing and they point out the huge fuck up in letting Blocklinux control the source code of Linux, they also point out that the same old tyrants (Eicrosoft and Opple) are the ones investing in Blocklinux and are basically destroying Linux so that their own products continue to thrive.

Now Blocklinux not only controls the source code, they also control free speech on most venues where Linux discussion took place. They proceed to flat out deplatform and ban anyone who dares to point out their obviously tyrannical path. They also call big daddy Eicrosoft so that they invest in LinuxDesk and pull favours with Lorbes, LNN, LNBC, LewYorkTimes, and many others so they all join in on the same disinformation campaign "Linux is bad as an operating system because it's only limited to 1 MB, but it's an amazing store of screen savers!"

Now Blocklinux starts to develop products to extend the Screensaver capabilities of Linux so that it can also work as an operating system! However, that can only happen if you trust Blocklinux with your swap memory and use "Linuqid" and "Linuxing Network" and other abominations just to restore some features that essentially Linux had since day 0, and it would have continued to have hadn't Blocklinux artificially limited the swap memory size to 1 MB.

Now, when the community who are fed up with Blocklinux's agenda decides to fork Linux into FreeLinux to save it, Blocklinux goes on a blind rage and calls their fork "FreeX" (freaks) and sends trolls and shills everywhere FreeLinux people hangout to call them FreeX and defend and shill for Blocklinux.

And that's why you're here here shilling for Blockstream my friend, because they're essentially Blocklinux but with Bitcoin.

I posted on r/Bitcoin for the first time and the topic was how BTC is at a contradiction with Peer to peer.

    Posted: 09 May 2019 10:39 AM PDT

I didn't go there to talk about other crypto I just wanted to be proven wrong and yet I've never felt such Hate and disrespect from ANYWHERE in my life like I did in r/bitcoin. Nobody answered my question In fact I had one person not only insult me but said LN is peer to peer to peer to peer to peer. What? that's is a contradiction of peer to peer and than my post gets removed because they said I made a duplicate on the same subject, what? in fact I deleted that last post because I had someone tell me to not post unless it is in a form of a question so I did and still, nothing but Hate and Toxicity. I'm NEVER going back to r/bitcoin.
