Gemini Exchange quietly doubled their trading fee today Posted: 10 May 2019 07:22 PM PDT Buried in their terms of service changes, which just appeared today along with a major UI overhaul, is this new fee schedule: https://gemini.com/web-fee-schedule/#web-fee-schedule 1.49% "transaction fee" plus a .5% "convenience fee". It was previously a flat 1%. Now I have to look for a new onramp. Are other Gemini users as bothered by this as I am? I don't know what annoys me more: the fact that they doubled the fee during an exciting time for the market, or the fact that they were so quiet about it. (Note: the fee change does not apply if you're on their ActiveTrader platform, which I haven't looked into but they are oddly coy about it - "Want access to ActiveTrader™? Please contact Gemini Customer Support") [link] [comments] | ||
